The water restoration industry has come a long way over the years. The original concept was to extract the water, and let natural drying occur for structural materials over a prolonged period of time.

Throughout the development if the science of water damage restoration, it has become evident that water damage not only affects the structure and contents of your home or building, but also impacts public health if restoration is not performed properly. Whatever the source of the water damage, the impact on the ecology within the affected structure is important. The increase in the microorganisms present, or in the conditions of the building that may promote microbial amplification, is a major concern. The importance of a timely response to any water damage is necessary to prevent progressive material damage, amplification of microorganisms and to minimize potential health effects.

For all these reasons it is very important to use professional and experienced companies, when dealing with a water damaged structure. Clean Pro has certified and experienced technicians who understand and are well trained in microbiology, biocide chemistry, inspection techniques, psychrometry, thermodynamics, building science, and evaporation and dehumidification theory.  Along with the extensive training Clean Pro has State of the art drying equipment to dry your home or business worry free.

Category 1 (clean water source)

 DO:

  • Remove and secure small furniture items as possible to minimize rust or stains and expedite restoration.
  • Place aluminum foil under legs of wood furniture, especially antiques that may permanently stain carpet.
  • Hang draperies and pin up furniture skirts as possible toe prevent contact with wet floors.
  • Remove books, shoes, paper goods, and small items. (Don’t forget under beds and in closets)
  • Remove and secure breakables, and moisture sensitive high value items.
